The mobile technology devices of the future are now here and we may see the first cellular phone without a keyboard. This means everything will be done by voice. You will tell the device a number to call, or say the name of a person that is in your cell phone directory and then say "call" an it will then dial the person up. There will be no need for a keyboard, and you won't have to worry about the dexterity issues of trying to punch little buttons.
There are already software programs that allow you to go from voice into text messaging language. It takes whatever you say and abbreviates it down into the text messaging letters. That is pretty impressive. There is also a device that takes text messaging letters and expands it into actual regular sentences, or into voice conversation. It seems that there is a lot of money being funded in Research and Development towards these mobile tech devices, and that the technology is rapidly advancing.
Although, these will be the first mobile tech device cell phones without keyboards, they certainly will not be the last. One futurist at the World Future Society stated that he saw a time within the next five years where cell phones didn't even have keyboards. In other words it would be hard to find a cell phone which did have a keyboard, as most of them would not come with them.
This is only one of the mobile tech innovations that is on the cutting-edge of our future high-tech society. Please consider all this.
