Yahoo Hires Ross Levinsohn to run business in the Americas

Yahoo has hired Ross Levinsohn, former President of Fox Interactive Media, as the region of America's Executive Vice President, we have confirmed. Firstly, AllThingsD broke the news that he was close to take employment.

Levinsohn replace Hillary Schneider.Yahoo departure Schneider announced last month.

Levinsohn is going to take control of enterprise for the Americas of Yahoo, including the content, advertising and the partenariats.Quelque 2,000 employees will report in their organization.

It is also the first Executive lease very publicized Yahoo since earlier this year, bringing product manager Blake Irving.

Levinsohn is currently associated with the capital of fuse, a joint venture with links to Best Buy company.Former partner of the Levinsohn capital of fuse, Jonathan Miller, leads now Enterprise Digital News Corp., effectively the same Levinsohn position held.

While Fox Interactive Media Levinsohn oversaw the acquisition of 580 million for MySpace as well as the almost 1 billion of dollars advertising deal with Google.
