Facebook Acquires Drop.io, Nabs Sam Lessin

Drop.io file sharing site based in New York posted just the new breaking acquired by Facebook on its company blog. This looks like it is the latest in a series of acquisitions of talent by social giant. Before leaving, Drop.io was 9.95 million financing led by RRE Ventures.

In Drop.io blog:

"Today, we are proud to announce that we have concluded an agreement with Facebook." What this means is that Facebook bought the most active and drop.io technology and Sam Lessin is Facebook.
